@Ryan. Thanks. Sorry I missed your comment earlier. I know what you mean about Shingon books. “Weaving of Mantra” immediately comes to mind. lol It has some great stuff in it, but it took me a while to work my way through it. As for Hokai writing a book, I completely agree. Do you think he’ll accept bribes?

@James thanks so much! I love the title of your blog:) Yeah, I was doing research to see if I can find any books on Shingon, but there aren’t many and most are pretty academic in tone, which is not my bag really. Hokai also said there aren’t too many good ones out there. Well, until we get him to write one;)

Thanks for posting this. Beautiful presentation. I presently study in Tibetan Vajrayana w/ Khentrul Lodro Thaye Rinpoche, but study academically within Shingon-if that makes any sense. lol There are just so few Shingon teachers in the west! I look forward to reading your future posts.

BTW, I come originally from a Sufi background-so I obviously love what you’re doing here.
